Entity Reference API

Resolve a ticker, CIK, LEI, EDINET code, or FIGI to the listing id used on filings and financials. Ticker/FIGI return that line; issuer ids return our primary listing. Unknown id → entity is null (HTTP 200). Names: Entity Search. Ids you can send.

Query Parameters

id*Entity Id

Company or listing id. Same resolve as Entity Reference: ticker (AAPL, AAPL US, AAPL-US), CIK, LEI, EDINET code, CRD, SEC series id, internal id, FIGI, composite FIGI, and share-class FIGI. ISIN and CUSIP match but are never returned. See Ids you can send.

Length1 <= length <= 200
category?string

EQUITY, ETF, FUND, PERSON, or PRIVATE_COMP. Optional type filter. Do not pass ALL.
