What Is It?
![]()
The Annotations feature provides a single, organized interface to manage all your personal and team-wide highlights and notes created within our document viewer.
It transforms passive reading into active research by aggregating every annotation made across thousands of sources, allowing you to quickly surface the most critical insights without needing to re-read entire documents.
The feature is divided into two primary views:
![]()
-
My Annotations: Lists every individual annotation you have personally created, sorted by creation date, and provides tools to quickly filter and review your personal notes.

-
Annotated Documents: A curated list of all documents (both personal uploads and those from the company database) that contain at least one annotation, enabling quick navigation back to the original source.

Why Use It?
Annotations accelerate your due diligence and ensure accuracy by centralizing and making searchable the most important segments of your research.

This feature allows you to:
-
Accelerate Review: Instantly recall key figures, critical clauses, or important statements you previously highlighted, significantly speeding up the research and review process.
-
Improve Collaboration: Annotations can be shared live across your organization, allowing team members to see and leverage your insights immediately, reducing redundant work and ensuring everyone is aligned on the most relevant information. (Only applicable to Enterprise licenses)
-
Enhance Decision Quality: By having immediate access to your collected insights, you can more confidently connect data points from various sources, leading to better-informed investment decisions.
The feature's interactive nature means clicking any listed annotation immediately opens the source document and scrolls directly to the highlighted text, providing instant context.
